I am a bit nervous about starting the design of my typefaces, I have been reading a lot about typography over the past few years and type design seems like a very long, tedious and precise process. I have been researching and trying to find tips on how to design typefaces before I get started and do it wrong.
It seems like there isn't a right and a wrong way of designing but there is easy and hard ways. I plan to think out precisely what it is that I am going to do before I get started.
